Membership Benefits
QRNO Membership provides -
- a high-speed hub for interconnection to other members;
- traffic interchange with other members at no "per byte" cost;
- internet access via AARNet;
- research network access to GrangeNet;
- technical advice & support from other members.
AARnet and GrangeNet each have access policies that QRNO Members must abide by. Both networks have charged services. (Further information on these is available from http://www.aarnet.edu.au and http://www.grangenet.net.au .)
Membership of QRNO has three categories:
- Foundation membership;
- Associate membership;
- Client.
Foundation Members have full access to the QRNO Hub facilities, plus voting rights at Board meetings. Associate Members also have full access to the QRNO Hub facilities, and may freely join in discussions at Board meetings. Clients are provided with access to the QRNO Hub.
